4x10 or 5x8 scheduling to meet 40 hours/week. Rotating weeknight call (typically 2 nights/week) and rotating weekend call coverage; shared holiday/weekend call. Day with rotating nights/weekends.
Hours per completion of an Endoscopy Technician program or equivalent clinical training preferred
Relevant certifications (BLS required; additional endoscopy or specialty certificates a plus)
Knowledge & Skills • Thorough knowledge of endoscope reprocessing, infection control, and high-level disinfection protocols • Skilled in instrumentation setup for GI/Endo procedures and troubleshooting common device issues • Technical skills for biopsy, snare, dilation (balloon/Maloney/Savary), injections, banding and hemostasis techniques • Comfort working in a high-volume acute care setting with rapid turnover (20–30 cases/day across 2 rooms) • Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills • Ability to self-schedule and adapt to variable case volumes and shift flexing
