Licensed Practical Nurse – UHC Staffing Licensed Practical Nurse Location: Albuquerque, NM Contract Type: Per-Diem Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift, 12.5-hour shift) Hours per Week: 38

Roles & Responsibilities
• Administer safe, timely patient care in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor patients conditions, report changes promptly, and escalate when needed
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
• Provide compassionate patient and family education to support recovery and health
• Support medication administration and basic clinical procedures within scope

Qualifications
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Registered Nurse (RN) license — appropriate for the role applied
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfort with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team
• Ability to lift/transfer patients and perform clinical duties required by the unit

Education
• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN (if applying for RN role): Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN

Knowledge & Skills
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and basic wound care
• Clinical documentation and charting best practices
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
• Professional bedside manner and patient/family education techniques
