Our Client is currently seeking Polysomnographic Technician for positions in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in South Dakota. This is a Polysomnographic Technician position in the Sleep Tech type:Sleep Study. Requirements • Current Resume • Certification as required by state • 2 current clinical references • Competitive pay rates • Health/Dental Benefit package The lab is open Sunday-Thursday so 3 shifts will fall on these days. • 3 night shifts per week Unit Notes: • 80-mile LOCAL Placements • MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date. • All clinicians must badge in and out at facility • Scrubs: Gray 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration. Checking in patients, setting up rooms, patient hookup, charting and cleaning equipment. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) • Computerized charting, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, ResMed S9 Devices 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. • Sleep Tech trained with a minimum of 1 year experience. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) • RPSGT and BLS certified 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) • Employee will not work alone, call is not required, Nights only Sunday-Thursday. 12- hour shifts. 6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) • No floating 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. • 10 Bed Sleep Lab. Two of the Beds can be used for Pediatric testing 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 9. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. • Modified EMR training and one shift of orientation with another sleep tech. Additional Comments: • Located in the lower level of a clinic off campus from main hospital. It is a hospital outpatient department. • Flat lot parking located immediately outside of the building. • No cafeteria. • Secured entrance. • All patients are 2:1 tech ratio unless younger than 3 years old then 1:1. • Limited scoring during data collection. Cancellation Policy: • Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System: EPIC Shift Notes: • The lab is open Sunday-Thursday so 3 shifts will fall on these days. • 3 night shifts per week; shifts will not always be consecutive and may have split shifts (not three in a row). Required Certifications: BLS Certification. • 36 hours per week, Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
