Nuclear Medicine Technologist training available if needed. Document imaging exams and patient information accurately. Maintain radiation safety practices and wear/use the provided radiation badge. Follow facility infection control and fingernail policies to ensure patient safety and compliance. Communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary team members to support timely, high-quality care. Participate in orientation and any required training to maintain competency and meet unit standards.
Qualifications • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Valid driver’s license required at submittal (used to determine radius eligibility). • DOT certification preferred at start and required if extended (to be completed within 90 days of extension). • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. • Willingness to comply with facility policies and radius rules.
Knowledge & Skills • Hands-on knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures. • Familiarity with charting and documentation workflows. • Comfort with imaging platforms (training available). • Strong radiation safety awareness and badge monitoring practices. • Patient positioning, image acquisition, and attention to diagnostic image quality. • Professional communication and teamwork in an acute care setting.
