Roles & Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures with accuracy and compassion • Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images • Document procedures, findings and patient information in EPIC with attention to detail • Provide excellent patient care, including patient preparation, positioning and monitoring during scans • Follow radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures to protect patients and staff • Collaborate with physicians, technologists and nursing staff across Genesis Hospital and the HealthPlex • Cover on-call responsibilities per the rotation (every 6th weekend and one weekday on-call)
Qualifications • Current Ohio Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (required) • ARRT(N) certification or CNMT certification (must have one) • Current BLS certification (required) • Current or very recent Nuclear Medicine/PET imaging experience (required) • Familiarity with Siemens imaging systems and EPIC electronic medical record • Ability to participate in on-call rotation including every 6th weekend
Education • Certification through ARRT(N) or CNMT and relevant Nuclear Medicine Technology training or program completion
Knowledge & Skills • Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging techniques and protocols • Hands-on experience with Siemens imaging equipment • Proficiency using EPIC for documentation and workflow • Radiation safety practices and quality assurance • Strong patient care, communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage workload across two clinical sites
