Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living • Monitor and report patient condition changes to the nursing team promptly • Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients • Document care accurately and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members • Support infection control practices and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in New Mexico • Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain • Ability to provide patient-focused care with empathy and professionalism • Comfortable working a 12-hour night shift (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) • Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a care team
Education • High school diploma or GED preferred • Completed accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills • Strong patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting) • Basic understanding of infection control and safety precautions • Good communication and documentation skills • Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and nurse direction • Ability to manage time effectively during busy shift environments
