Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support using proper body mechanics
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support feeding and nutritional needs, observing dietary guidelines and resident preferences
• Document resident care clearly and timely in the charting system
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications
• Current, active CNA certification in the state of practice
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Ability to pass standard background checks and required health screenings
• Comfort working overnight hours and supporting an active care setting
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents

Education
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills
• Basic knowledge of vital signs, ADLs (activities of daily living), and patient safety
• Skilled at safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Competence in documenting care and communicating changes to nursing staff
• Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
