Geriatric Nursing Assistant

CNA certification accepted where applicable
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with good communication skills
Comfortable assisting with physical tasks and following safety protocols

Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills
• Foundational knowledge of geriatric care and common age-related conditions
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
• Infection control and safe handling practices
• Strong teamwork, time management, and documentation habits
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
