Certified Nursing Assistant
Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) • Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team • Document care accurately and completely in the patient record • Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics • Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Qualifications • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification • Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude • Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
Education • High school diploma or GED preferred • Active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills • Understanding of patient safety and infection control practices • Ability to assist with ADLs and maintain dignity-centered care • Accurate documentation and time management skills • Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nurses • Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
