Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility • Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition with attention to detail • Support nursing staff with safe transfers, repositioning, and basic nursing tasks • Document care accurately and promptly in the facility charting system • Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to promote continuity of care • Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for residents • Act as a reliable team player—helping wherever needed to ensure great resident experiences
Qualifications • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required • Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state listing • Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain • Ability to pass facility health requirements (TB test, immunizations) as required • Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude
Education • High school diploma or equivalent • Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills • Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic resident care • Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling • Good charting and documentation habits • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment • Attention to detail and observant clinical instincts
