Certified Nursing Assistant Location: Langhorne, PA Contract Type: Per-Diem Shift Type: Days not specified, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift) Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs and daily comfort • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team • Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper technique • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during handoffs • Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients safe • Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required) • Valid Pennsylvania CNA certification or eligibility to obtain state certification • Minimum hands-on experience in long-term care or acute care preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable on hire • Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Education • High school diploma or GED preferred • Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification
Knowledge & Skills • Strong patient care and bedside manner skills • Ability to take and interpret vital signs accurately • Familiarity with charting and basic electronic health record entries • Good communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings • Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling practices
