Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide attentive sitter care and support patient safety across multiple floors
• Deliver hands-on CNA duties: take vital signs, assist with feeding and ambulation, and perform turning/positioning
• Perform hourly rounding to anticipate needs and prevent issues before they arise
• Document care accurately in EPIC and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Float to different units as staffing needs require, adapting to varied patient populations
• Collaborate with charge nurses and resource staff to maintain smooth unit operations

Qualifications
• Valid Washington nursing/CNA license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum hospital experience — at least 1 year (job details also indicate 2 years preferred)
• Comfort working on telemetry units and providing sitter utilization as needed
• Flexible schedule and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and clinical documentation
• Telemetry unit experience and understanding of related patient monitoring
• Strong patient care skills: vital signs, feeding, ambulation, turning/positioning, hourly rounding
• Ability to float across multiple floors and adapt to different patient populations
• Comfort with block scheduling and working 12-hour shifts
