Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) • Perform unit tasks such as stocking supplies and room cleaning on discharge • Accurately chart patient care in EPIC to keep the care team informed • Support critical care nurses with patient monitoring and timely communication • Float within Critical Care units across Region Two when needed to ensure continuity of care • Work collaboratively with charge nurses and house supervisors to maintain safe ratios and quality care
Qualifications • Current CNA certification (required) • BLS certification (required) • COVID-19 vaccination required • 2+ years of ICU or PCU experience preferred/required • Comfortable charting in EPIC and performing ADLs in a high-acuity setting • Able to float within Region Two (St. Clare, St. Elizabeth, St. Joseph Medical Center)
Education • CNA certification (required) • High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills • Patient care and ADLs • Critical care/ICU fundamentals • EPIC charting experience • CNA clinical skills and bedside assistance • BLS and infection control practices • Ability to work in fast-paced acute care settings and communicate effectively with the team
