Pharmacist - Evening start times vary between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM (typical schedule includes weekend work; night shift coverage Hours per Doctor of Pharmacy preferred. Recent hospital experience preferred; ambulatory or clinic experience a plus. Pharmacy residency and advanced practice certifications preferred when rotating to ambulatory roles. BLS certification required for anticoagulation clinic rotations and must be renewed every two years. Ability to work evenings and weekends with minimal supervision and strong teamwork skills.
Education • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (required) • Doctor of Pharmacy (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills • Order entry and order verification expertise • Medication checking and dispensing proficiency • Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations • Experience with inpatient pharmacy workflows and ambulatory clinic services • Strong interdisciplinary communication with providers and nursing • Clinical patient care across age groups including geriatrics and pediatrics • Familiarity with anticoagulation and oncology clinic processes is a plus
