Roles & Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and general med/surg patients • Assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in the EMR • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including PT leads, OT, nursing and physicians to optimize patient outcomes • Provide therapeutic interventions using equipment such as treatment beds, treadmills, exercise bikes and resistance bands • Educate patients and families on mobility, safety and functional improvement to support successful discharges • Adapt daily plans based on surgical volume and changing patient acuity while maintaining safety and compassion • Contribute to a positive team culture by demonstrating strong time management, critical thinking and professionalism
Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (experience field lists 2) • At least 1 year current experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehab or SNF (listed as a must-have) • BLS certification (required) • DPT strongly preferred (listed as preferred) • Comfortable working varied day shift hours and participating in weekend/holiday rotation • Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems is a plus

Knowledge & Skills • Inpatient physical therapy best practices for orthopedic, cardiovascular and neurologic populations • Skilled in therapeutic exercise, mobility training, gait training and functional transfers • Proficient with common rehab equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, resistance bands and treatment tables • Strong clinical judgment, time management and patient-centered communication • Teamwork and the ability to coordinate care across disciplines in a fast-paced acute care setting
