Our Client is currently seeking Physical Therapist for positions in Shreveport, Louisiana for a 5x8 Days, 09:00:00-17:00:00, 8.00-5 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Louisiana. This is a Physical Therapist position in the PCC - Progressive Care Center. Department Information: Schedule: M-F 8-4:30 no call or weekends Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: • IPR: Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Amputees, Multiple trauma, Hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, s/p Cardiac surgery, s/p COVID, medically complex/debilitating patients • Acute/PCC: s/p Cardiac, s/p Ortho procedures, medically complex/debilitating patients • Outpatient: General Ortho (surgical non-surgical), Sports Med, Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical non-surgical) • Skilled Nursing: similar to IPR
Required License: • PT: Current LA PT license • PTA: Current LA PTA license
Skills required: • Ability to manage a case load independently • Experience with above-mentioned patient types • Working with the multidisciplinary team
Support within the Department: • Supervisor • Assistant Director • Peer Therapists
Floating: No floating between facilities, unless otherwise specified
Orientation: Attend a general hospital orientation + departmental and site-specific orientation (2-3 days) will have full case load by the end of the week
Scheduling: Hours PT/PTA: 0800-1630 depends on location Weekend rotation: no weekends On call: No call Holiday Expectations: No holidays
