Roles & Responsibilities • Perform all routine CT exams, including invasive procedures, with accuracy and compassion • Operate and optimize imaging on the GE 64 Slice CT to produce high-quality diagnostic images • Prepare patients for exams, including patient positioning and clear, reassuring communication • Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol when required • Document exams and patient care thoroughly in EPIC EMR • Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and equipment cleanliness standards • Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary care team to support excellent patient outcomes • Provide dependable on-call and weekend coverage as needed to ensure continuous patient care
Qualifications • ARRT registration and CT certification required • Current BLS certification required • Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience • Experience with GE 64 Slice CT preferred • Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred • IV insertion skills preferred • Friendly, adaptable, and patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills • Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy • Skilled in patient positioning and contrast administration • Hands-on experience operating GE 64 Slice CT equipment • Proficient documentation in EPIC or similar EMR systems • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control best practices • Excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting abilities
