Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient schedule includes required weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) Hours per Week: 36
Roles & Responsibilities • Position patients and perform diagnostic X-ray exams of chest, extremities and other outpatient studies with precision • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively, adhering to protocols • Process, document and archive images into PACS and ensure accurate EMR entries in EPIC • Provide compassionate basic patient care—obtain vital signs, prepare patients and assist clinicians • Perform specimen collection (including blood draws) when qualified to support diagnostic workflows • Maintain an orderly, well-stocked imaging area and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise • Float to Main Radiology as needed to support team coverage and continuity of care
Qualifications • Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the State of California (required) • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) licensure (required) • California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit (required) • Current CPR certification (required) • Hands-on EPIC (EMR) experience and comfort using PACS for image management • Previous travel/traveler experience preferred • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide weekend coverage • Phlebotomy skills and experience obtaining vital signs a plus
Education • Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
Knowledge & Skills • Radiologic technology fundamentals and best practices • X-ray imaging and fluoroscopy techniques • Patient positioning and image optimization • PACS image processing and documentation • EPIC EMR navigation and record keeping • Basic patient care, specimen collection and vital sign measurement • Strong communication and teamwork in outpatient clinic settings
