Rad Tech e.g., 3 one week, 4 the next), includes weekends. Day holiday coverage not typically required.
Roles & Responsibilities • Perform general X-ray exams across ED, outpatient and inpatient settings with accuracy and compassion • Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment for procedural imaging as needed • Provide portable radiography in various care settings while maintaining image quality and patient safety • Accurately document and upload images into EPIC and Fuji Synaps/PACS for timely physician review • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to prioritize urgent studies and support patient flow • Maintain radiation safety practices and follow facility protocols, including using agency-provided radiation badge
Qualifications • ARRT (R) certification required • BLS (AHA) certification required • Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience • Proven experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm and portable X-ray • Comfortable working ED, inpatient and outpatient imaging environments • Valid driver’s license (radius requirement: within 60 miles) and ability to be in-state for orientation week
Knowledge & Skills • Proficiency with EPIC and Fuji Synaps (PACS) image management • Experience with GE imaging equipment • Strong patient care and communication skills in fast-paced settings • Ability to manage 20–30 studies per day while maintaining quality • Familiarity with trauma-level 1 workflows and acute care imaging priorities
