X-Ray/CT Tech - Weekend Days
Roles & Responsibilities • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams in X-ray and CT, ensuring clear images and accurate positioning • Operate fluoroscopy and OR imaging equipment safely and effectively for a variety of procedures • Provide imaging services across specialties including oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, womens health, and urology • Maintain radiation safety protocols and adhere to department policies to protect patients and staff • Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and procedural needs • Triaging and responding to on-call imaging requests as needed with professionalism and calm under pressure • Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper handling of images and reports
Qualifications • ARRT (R) certification required • ARRT (CT) certification required • Current CT certification is required • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Demonstrated experience with X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, OR imaging and orthopedic imaging • Comfortable working independently and in a sometimes hectic environment • Willingness to work Friday through Monday schedule and participate in on-call shifts as needed
Education • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)
Knowledge & Skills • Strong proficiency in CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy • Skilled in fluoroscopy procedures and OR imaging workflows • Excellent patient positioning, image acquisition, and radiographic technique • Knowledge of radiation safety principles and dose reduction strategies • Ability to prioritize studies, manage workflow, and adapt in a fast-paced setting • Clear communication with providers, technologists, and patients of all ages
