REPORTS TO: Imaging Director
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty.
• Displays a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics
• Must maintain continuing education and meet the required continuing education credits by the ARRT
• Must maintain continuing education and have current BLS.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, performs radiographic procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and patients families, consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.
