Roles & Responsibilities • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal diagnostic images with compassion and efficiency • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including digital systems and OR C-arm, to capture high-quality imaging • Perform mobile radiography at bedside, in the OR, and in the ER with strict adherence to safety protocols • Select and adjust exposure factors (time, distance) and operate film/processing equipment as needed • Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams to ensure smooth, coordinated imaging procedures • Prioritize and organize daily workflow to maintain department efficiency and excellent patient care
Qualifications • 1+ year of current hospital X-Ray Technologist experience (required) • Active ARRT certification (required) • Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required) • New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (NH MIRT) OR proof of equivalent state license for reciprocity (required at profile upload) • Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portable Radiography, and OR C-arm (required) • Experience imaging all age groups (pediatrics through geriatrics) (required) • Previous travel experience preferred • Must have reliable personal vehicle (position is in a community without public transport)
