Rad Tech - CT/Xray schedule includes weekends on rotation (every 3-5 weekends) and holiday coverage (every 4th holiday); on-call/response expectation: 15-minute trauma/stroke response

Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform CT and X-ray imaging with accuracy and attention to patient safety and comfort
• Operate department equipment including Toshiba CT, DEXA, C-arm, portable units and fluoroscopy
• Start IVs when needed (if not started by RN) to support contrast studies
• Follow protocols for trauma, stroke, isolation and chest pain imaging with calm efficiency
• Document imaging and patient interactions in Meditech and communicate findings to the care team
• Collaborate with the Radiology Supervisor and fellow techs to maintain smooth shift coverage
• Respond rapidly to trauma/stroke calls (15-minute response expectation) and assist as needed

Qualifications
• ARRT certification (required)
• Current ND state license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience with CT and X-ray
• Comfortable starting IVs when necessary
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR/PACS systems
• Ability to float between CT and X-ray and cover portable and fluoroscopy exams
• Strong communication and teamwork skills — this department values collaboration

Knowledge & Skills
• Computed Tomography (CT) — hands-on proficiency
• Conventional X-ray imaging and positioning
• Experience with Toshiba CT scanners
• DEXA, C-arm and fluoroscopy operation
• Portable imaging techniques
• IV start competency for imaging contrast procedures
• Meditech EMR/PACS charting and image workflow
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork
