Our Client is currently seeking Interventional Radiology Technologist for positions in Madison, Wisconsin for a 5x8 Days, 09:00:00-17:00:00, 8.00-5 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Wisconsin. This is a Radiologic Technologist position in the IMAGING - ANGIOGRAPHY. Health/Dental Benefit package.
*Neuro experience preferred.
Days, 8-hr shifts, start times between 7AM - 10AM, Monday - Friday. Traveler will be assigned 4x10-hr shifts on weeks where holidays fall. No weekends, no holidays. Possible standby, if needed.
Experience: Two (2) years clinical interventional imaging experience required.
Education: * Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
License and Certification: * State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer required. * Certification by appropriate body: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) required, (V) highly preferred. * BLS (issued by American Heart Association) required.
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist Interventional to: * Work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and physicians and nurses. * Use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes (Fluoro, Ultrasound, CT, and MR). * Image inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and intra-operative patients while using critical thinking skills.
Facility Requirement: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
Floating - Travelers are the first to float. Depending on the current staffing needs, the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract.

RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), the traveler will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off).

Minimum experience required: Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement.

Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. Additional details within the orientation section of this guide.
Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria.
A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts:
Adult Exam: * 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole * No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] * Passing score of 80% or higher
Pediatric Exam * Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia * Passing score of 80% or higher
Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the individual does not pass on the second attempt their contract may be cancelled. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts will notify recruitment of the results. Recruitment will notify the hiring manager that the traveler s assignment will be cancelled.
Competency Renewal: Travelers need to have an active telemetry competency on file per calendar.
