Additional Information: Start dates: 4/13, 4/20, or 4/27/2026 Day/Evening, 8-hr shifts, Monday - Friday, between 0630 - 1700 and PM hours between 1330 - 2400. Hours will vary based on operational need. No weekends, no call, no holidays. One vaca pool - allow 7 people off per day, they will fill in those gaps. Additional Unit Information • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Join our REMARKABLE health care team as a Radiologic Technologist MRI and perform technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist MRI to: Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations. Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. • Special Equipment: GE experience in the last 18 - 24 months required.
Travel Compliance • RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). • Floating: Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract. • Local Radius: 50 miles from the facility • Local Rule: locals are not accepted • 1st Time travelers accepted in some units • License: must be in hand at submittal • Minimum experience required: Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement. • Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. Additional details within the orientation section of this guide. • Recruiters, please express this to candidates: - Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the individual does not pass on the second attempt their contract may be cancelled. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts Vaya will notify recruitment of the results.
