Roles & Responsibilities • Operate CT equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for a range of patient needs • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps, ensuring safety, and confirming identification • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times to protect patients and staff • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure images meet diagnostic standards • Document procedures accurately in Meditech and maintain clear, timely patient records • Troubleshoot routine scanner issues and coordinate with biomedical/engineering when needed • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care—supporting comfort and dignity during scans
Qualifications • ARRT registration (required) • CT certification (required) • Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) license or ability to obtain state licensure • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification • Minimum 2 years of CT experience (as listed in the posting) • Comfortable working evening or night shifts and adaptable to unit scheduling needs
Knowledge & Skills • Proficient with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy • Experience with GE CT equipment • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system • Strong patient communication and positioning skills • Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices • Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospital radiology setting and prioritize cases
