Unit Information MRI technologist responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and processing). The position is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologists. Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. PSPH MRI has a Toshiba Vantage Titan 1.5T magnet with 2 technologist on duty at all times. PSPH MRI operates under ACR imaging and safety guidelines. Our hospital operates 24 hours, 7 days a week and provides care for both inpatients and outpatients. We pride ourselves in MRI safety and quality image acquisitions for excellent patient outcomes.
