Our Client is currently seeking MRI Technologist for positions in Peoria, Illinois for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Illinois. This is a MRI Tech position in the SFMC - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech type:MRI.

Unit Notes: • OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: • OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift • Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: • Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated • Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: RTR MR
Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Outpatients, In-patients, and ED patients.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W). MRI safety guidelines, starting IV's, and the standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning.
EMR &/or PACS they use: Epic

Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: Yes, MRI Tech assistant - 1 per 8 hour shift.
Do they have to start IV's?: Yes
Shifts & Scheduling: 8 hours - start times 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm, second shift 2pm - 10:30pm, or 3rd shift 10pm -0630am.
Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend a month.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: We do not provide scrubs. Standard solid colored scrubs. Tattoos have to be covered.
