Roles & Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in ED/Trauma, OR and portable settings with care and precision • Operate X-ray and portable radiography equipment while maintaining radiation safety standards • Produce high-quality images and ensure proper patient positioning for accurate diagnoses • Respond quickly and professionally during trauma activations and emergent imaging needs • Document exams and chart in Cerner accurately and timely • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to prioritize patient safety and throughput • Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and follow infection control and OR protocols
Qualifications • ARRT certification required • BLS certification required • Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience (ED/Trauma, portables, or OR experience preferred) • Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems preferred • Prefer AZ radiologic technologist license in hand (preferred, not mandatory) • Ability to pass facility credentialing and interview with the hiring manager
Education • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or certificate preferred)
Knowledge & Skills • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography and X-ray techniques • Skilled in portable radiography and imaging in OR and trauma settings • Comfortable working in fast-paced acute care/ED environments • Familiarity with Cerner for charting and image documentation • Excellent patient positioning, image quality assessment, and radiation safety practices • Clear communicator who works well with multidisciplinary teams
