Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams using Hologic mammography systems
• Conduct breast ultrasound studies with accuracy and compassion, managing an average daily volume
• Operate and document images in PACS CHC and chart procedures in Cerner EMR
• Position patients safely and effectively to ensure diagnostic-quality images and excellent patient care
• Collaborate closely with in-house radiologists to support timely, accurate interpretations
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Provide clear patient communication and support through sensitive breast imaging procedures
• Participate in orientation and team workflows to support consistent, efficient patient throughput

Qualifications
• AZ Mammography License and AZ Radiology License OR ARDMS Breast Ultrasound certification
• Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) and Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of breast imaging experience (mammography and/or breast ultrasound)
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR and PACS CHC
• Experience with Hologic mammography and ultrasound systems a strong plus
• IV insertion skills considered a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols and mammography positioning
• Proficiency with breast ultrasound technique and image optimization
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and PACS CHC workflows
• Ability to operate Hologic mammography and ultrasound equipment
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Attention to detail for quality assurance and image documentation
• Teamwork and collaborative skills to work with radiologists and clinic staff
