Our Client is currently seeking MRI Technologist for positions in Rockford, Illinois for a 4x10 Days, 06:30:00-17:00:00, 10.00-4 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Illinois. This is a MRI Tech position.

Department: Radiology - MRI • General Certification Requirements: BLS • Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT (MR) • How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 • Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: No • Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Routine, stroke, trauma. Patient transport, clerical duties, patient prep, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs & EMR navigation/documentation. • Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years of MRI experience, MRI certified & prefer GE experience • Average # of scans/studies per day: 25-30 • EMR &/or PACS: EMR - Epic, PACS - McKesson • Department Specific Equipment: GE • Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift?: - • Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No • Radiologist in-house?: Yes, except for after hours • Do they have to start IV's?: Yes • Shifts & Scheduling: 8Hr shifts • Weekend Requirements: No • Holiday Requirements: No • Call or Standby requirement?: No • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color professional scrubs. Scrubs are not provided. Must have tattoos covered & no body piercings besides earrings. • Department specific orientation: Typically the first week • Charting System: EPIC
