Mammography Technologist Location: West Hollywood, CA Shift Type: Monday-Friday with Saturday rotation, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day, rotating weekends) Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including 3-D (Hologic) imaging, to support accurate patient diagnoses • Use Epic for charting and documentation to maintain complete, compliant patient records • Manage a robust daily caseload (~150 exams) while maintaining patient comfort and safety • Float to different departments across the main campus as needed to support staffing and patient care • Adhere to facility policies including vaccination guidelines and infection control standards • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications • Valid California Mammography License (required) • ARRT (R) required • BLS (required) • ARRT (M) preferred • Approximately 2 years of mammography experience preferred (1.5 years clinical experience noted as minimum for some competencies) • Ability to float to different departments and adapt to varied workflows • Comfort working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Knowledge & Skills • Proficiency with screening and diagnostic mammography techniques, including 3-D mammography (Hologic 3D) • Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems • Strong patient communication and positioning skills • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads while maintaining attention to detail • Familiarity with imaging quality control and safety protocols • Teamwork and flexibility to support floating across units
