Roles & Responsibilities • Perform high-quality radiographic and CT exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety • Operate portable radiology, fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment as needed across multiple locations • Provide excellent patient registration and clerical support when assisting walk-in teams • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation with attention to detail • Collaborate with clinical teams to prioritize patient care and escalate findings appropriately • Ensure equipment safety and perform routine quality checks to deliver consistent, reliable imaging • Coach and support teammates, contributing to a positive, patient-centered work culture • Adapt to varied site workflows and travel between main campus and nearby clinics as required
Qualifications • ARRT registered (required) — current certification in Radiologic Technology • Current Maine RT licensure (required) • BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate (required) • Minimum 2+ years of solid hospital radiology experience preferred • CT, fluoroscopy, portable radiology, C-arm and bone density experience preferred • Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites, including nights, weekends and on-call shifts • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a patient-first attitude
Knowledge & Skills • Radiography fundamentals and image acquisition best practices • CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional imaging knowledge • Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety principles • Portable radiology workflows and patient positioning in varied settings • Bone density testing and C-arm operation (preferred) • Patient registration, clerical support, and electronic health record familiarity • Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
