Registered Nurse - CCU (Night) night-shift schedule subject to facility rotation. Hours per respond to changes with timely interventions. • Manage ventilators, oxygen devices and other life-support equipment; adjust settings as needed • Obtain and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab samples to inform patient care decisions • Deliver bedside care, initiate patient education plans, and coach patients and families on post-discharge needs • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow IV, phlebotomy and infection-control protocols • Respond to life-threatening situations with calm, skilled nursing interventions
Qualifications • Active RN license in the state of practice or Nurse Licensure Compact enrollment • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association • NIHSS certification • Verification of suicide prevention training as required for compact licensure • Nursys e-Notify verification of demographic data for compact license holders • Proof of right to work in the United States • Prior critical care experience in a hospital ICU/CCU setting with competence in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Knowledge & Skills • Critical care nursing principles and ICU/CCU workflows • Cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation • Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications • Ventilator/respiratory support and ventilator troubleshooting • IV therapy, phlebotomy and safe medication administration • Patient assessment, diagnostic test interpretation and lab result evaluation • Use and interpretation of monitoring and life-support equipment
