Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (36 hours/week guaranteed)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide clinical supervision and leadership as the House Supervisor to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Float to Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical-Surgical units to provide coverage and support
• Cover meal-period breaks for unit staff to maintain continuous patient care
• Coordinate patient flow, admissions, and unit staffing issues in collaboration with charge nurses and leadership
• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient care and operational issues
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams to keep patient care moving smoothly and safely

Qualifications
• Active California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP preferred
• Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of contract start required
• Experience supervising clinical staff and floating between ER, ICU and Med/Surg preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills
• Clinical supervision and leadership in acute care settings
• Experience in Emergency Room, ICU, and Medical-Surgical nursing
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and coordinate patient flow
• Comfort floating across units and covering meal-period breaks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills under pressure
• Familiarity with hospital operations and escalation processes
