Job Summary The RN will provide coordinated, compassionate care in a high-acuity ER environment. This position requires critical thinking, leadership, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities • Deliver patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals or groups of patients. • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. • Create a safe, healing environment for patients and families. • Participate in discharge planning and patient education. • Supervise and delegate tasks to other members of the healthcare team. • Perform job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements • Licensure: Active RN license in California • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience required (3+ years preferred) • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Certifications (Required): • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Additional Information • Must be compliant with all vaccination requirements per facility and agency policies. • Acute care hospital experience strongly preferred. • 36-hour weekly schedule with possible 48-hour weeks.
