Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Telemetry Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Schedule includes every-other-week (EOW) rotations with a 4-week requirement of 4 weekend shifts (Weekend NIHSS certification (AHA or APEX) required). Comfortable with total joint postoperative care and common surgical populations (Urology, GYN, Podiatry, General Surgery). Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management and basic respiratory collaboration with RT. Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred. Ability to float and a 30-minute response time if placed on standby.
Education • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills • Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation • Medical-surgical nursing and acute care competence • Heparin drip set-rate management • CPAP/BiPAP familiarity and collaboration with respiratory therapy • Strong clinical judgment, prioritization and time management • Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings • Accurate electronic documentation (Cerner) and bedside charting
