Roles & Responsibilities • Deliver compassionate, high-quality telemetry patient care consistent with hospital policy and Maine Board of Nursing standards • Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status • Administer medications and treatments safely, following ACLS/BLS protocols when needed • Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record • Communicate clearly with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care • Prioritize and multitask effectively during busy shifts to maintain patient safety and flow • Support clinical leaders and the charge nurse by escalating concerns and participating in shift handoffs • Contribute to a culture of compassion, integrity, collaboration and excellence on the unit
Qualifications • Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) • BLS certification (required) • ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire) • Telemetry experience preferred • Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field preferred • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player • Comfortable multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced clinical environment • Willingness to work flexible hours
Education • Bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge & Skills • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition • Patient assessment and clinical decision-making • ACLS and BLS emergency response protocols • Accurate clinical documentation and charting • Infection control and patient safety practices • Effective interpersonal communication and teamwork • Time management and prioritization under pressure
