Registered Nurse - Med/Tele/PCU night-focused rotation with occasional day coverage and float expectations. Hours per compact license holders welcome where applicable. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele or PCU experience required — must be comfortable reading and interpreting strips. Demonstrated ability to titrate drips and manage telemetry patients. Epic experience preferred but not mandatory; first-time travel nurses are welcome. Comfort with rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends and occasional float assignments.
Education Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (BSN not required)
Knowledge & Skills • Telemetry monitoring and ECG strip interpretation • PCU/stepdown patient assessment and management • Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips • Familiarity with BiPAP, trach care and high-flow oxygen troubleshooting • Experience with common cardiac meds: Amiodarone, Diltiazem (Cardizem), Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Nitroprusside, Furosemide, low-dose Dopamine • Strong clinical judgment, prioritization and multitasking in an acute care setting • Effective documentation using Epic and clear interdisciplinary communication
