Registered Nurse - Med/Tele/PCU rotating across all days of the week with every-other weekend and every-other holiday requirements (primarily nights with rotation; manager may consider blocked scheduling) Hours per PCU/Med-Telemetry experience is required Comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips independently Experience titrating drips and managing cardiac patients including post-cath, EP studies and pacers EPIC charting experience preferred Open to first-time travel nurses — orientation and support provided Able to meet facility radius and RTO requirements as specified by employer
Education • Active RN license required • BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills • Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills • Proficiency in reading and interpreting ECG strips • Clinical competence with PCU/stepdown level care • Ability to titrate and manage common cardiac drips safely • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record • Troubleshooting skills for BiPAP, trach and high-flow devices • Excellent communication, prioritization and critical thinking under pressure • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
