Registered Nurse - Adult Forensics – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse - Adult Forensics exact days assigned per schedule. Night Hours per inpatient psychiatric experience must be within the last 3 months (LTC not accepted) Recent adult forensics experience in the last 3 months is required Willingness to float to other units and accept charge nurse shifts Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment required Drivers license or candidate address must be included in submission (living within 35 miles may affect onsite rate policies) Education Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required (Active Vermont or Compact license). Degree level not specified in posting.
Knowledge & Skills • Strong psychiatric assessment and therapeutic milieu skills • Experience with co-occurring disorders and medically assisted withdrawal • Medication administration and monitoring in an inpatient psych setting • Clinical supervision of MHWs and charge nurse duties • Comfort and experience with adult forensics and intensive behavioral health care • Familiarity with CPI techniques and safe de-escalation practices • Ability to adapt, float between units, and manage high-acuity patients
