MUST WORK CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS

I need qualified Med/Surg night-shift agency candidates who have recent travel experience, Med/Surg experience, and are familiar with Epic. Our current onboarding process includes one 8-hour day to complete modules, policies, and required tasks, followed by up to two -hour orientation shifts on the floor. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

4 Medical is a -bed unit, are private rooms and 7 semi-private. Nursing ratio is 5:1 on days and :1 on nights, with nurses occasionally having 1 total care patient. We get a wide variety of patients, but our biggest population is stroke patients; we get most strokes that don't need TPA and comfort care or hospice patients. We also get a variety of post-operative patients, including amputations, drains, chest tubes, and feeding tubes. We get heparin drips, wound care, altered mental status, CIWA patients, Aki, dialysis, and COPD exacerbations. RNs who are stroke certified, able to do three -hour shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday.
