Registered Nurse - ICU rotating schedule with every-other-weekend requirement and rotating holidays; self-scheduling (schedules posted 4 weeks in advance); travelers may pick up extra shifts; guaranteed 36 hours/week. NIHSS required. TNCC and trauma experience preferred for TICU assignments. Strong ventilator management and EKG interpretation skills. Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and floating between units. Ability to work every-other-weekend and rotate holidays with core staff. Familiarity with Cerner EMR and acute care documentation.
Education • Active RN license required • BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills • Critical care nursing for surgical and trauma patients • Mechanical ventilator management and respiratory support • Telemetry and EKG interpretation • CRRT and ECMO familiarity and management principles • Postoperative vascular and trauma care (CEA, fem-pop, EVARs, laparotomies, thoracic procedures) • Familiarity with IABP and donor patient care considerations • Cerner EMR charting and clinical documentation • Strong teamwork, communication, and bedside report practices
