6 North is a 12 bed unit utilizing critical care and neuroscience principles at the Intermediate level. Common patient populations include patients transferring from the Neuro ICU. This unit takes care of patients who have experienced neuro trauma, subarachnoid, intraventricular or, intracerebral hemorrhage, ENT patients with cancer who have had a tumor resection and flap reconstruction, post-operative spine patients and a wide range of neurological problems. Patient ratio of 1:3.

Travel Compliance • Travelers are only guaranteed up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract. Please confirm RTO requests are accurate at time of submission. No additional RTO requests will be approved after acceptance. If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between Sign Date and Start Date, this must be communicated to ensure a realistic start date may be requested. • Experience - Please refer to the job description for required experience. • Valid State License - Will accept pending licenses, but must have license in-hand the Wednesday before start date. However, RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submission. • Mile Radius Rule - select units have a 50 mile travel restriction, any units not listed do not have a mile radius rule.
