Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Comfortable managing up to 6 patients on nights (may be asked to take up to 8 when needed)

Demonstrated IV insertion and line management skills

Required airway skills:
• CPAP/BiPAP competency

Experience with feeding tubes and wound vacs

Ability to float to other MS areas as needed and adapt to unit needs

Current CEU documentation available for interview per Boone Health requirements

Education
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills
• Medical-Surgical nursing fundamentals and acute inpatient care
• Patient assessment and prioritization
• IV therapy, IV pumps, and medication administration
• Vascular access care including PICC/central line management
• Care of dialysis fistulas and familiarity with renal patient needs
• Use of CPAP/BiPAP and basic respiratory support devices
• Wound vac management and feeding tube care
• Strong clinical judgment, safety focus, and teamwork
