Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Unit Description: BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit. Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred. Chemo certification is NOT required.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: • Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells. • Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin. • Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor. • CAR-T Therapy • Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

Requirements: • Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass. • RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. • Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. • Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. • Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
