Our Client is currently seeking ED - Emergency Department for positions in Decatur, Illinois for a 4x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-4 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Illinois license. This is a RN position in the Emergency Care Center. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN ED - Emergency Department.

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Position / Specialty: ED RN Shift: 4x12 or 3x12 Nights (1900-0730) Average Daily Census: 120. 32 Bed ED. 1:4 ratios for all shifts. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years experience required. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend REQ: Will work weekends as needed. Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC required. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Active IL license or ETA required to apply. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: • General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Level II Trauma Center. • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. • IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs. • Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration. • Neurological Case Skills/Experience: CVA, ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic brain injury. • Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Ortho-trauma. • Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal Pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottis, Head Injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health concerns, Near drowning, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Urinary tract infections. • Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal Patient. • Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Intubation, Ventilated patients. • Shock/Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation. • Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage. • Additional Skills/Experience: Tele Interpretations, Ventilators. • Cerner experience preferred. • Previous charge experience preferred.
