This is a MS overflow/ Tele Unit.

Will take NEW TRAVELERS.

All RNs MUST BE comfortable with High acuity and a 1:6 or 1:7 patient ratio.

Needs to be proficient in drips; Cardizem, Tridil and Amiodarone.

Can offer Block Booking, EOW required.

Scrub colors: ALL Navy OR Navy pants and White top.

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics.

Daily Census: 42.

Number of Rooms: 42.

Number of Beds: 42.

Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy.

Patient Diagnoses: This unit is "General Med/Surg" with a little bit of everything except for dialysis and ortho. Most of the admits are from the ED or transfers from other units. There are not many surgical patients either.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: ALL of these units are 1:6 /1:7 ratio AND ALL units need to be proficient in drips; cardizem, tridil, amiodarone.
