This role requires travel experience. MS/Telemetry clinical experience (2 years for MS/Tele; travel experience required). Comfort floating between like units (Betsy and Central Harnett) and covering assigned shifts including every-other-weekend. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
Knowledge & Skills
• Proficient in Epic charting
• Cardiac monitoring and telemetry (including remote monitoring)
• EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Central line, PICC and arterial line care/management
• Blood product administration and heparin protocol familiarity
• Tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
• Wound care/Wound Vac and managing post-op drains
• Therapeutic communication, de-escalation and restraint management
