Registered Nurse - ER – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse - ER 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours/week, plus required 24-hour call coverage (night shift)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients arriving with urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Document care accurately and efficiently using Meditech 6.0 (preferred platform)
• Respond to and manage 24-hour call shifts when scheduled, maintaining professional readiness
Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (current) — ready to practice in the state of assignment
• Previous Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• Travel nurse experience strongly preferred for this assignment
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and taking occasional 24-hour call shifts
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 or similar EMR systems is preferred
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in emergency care
• Proficiency or comfort using Meditech 6.0 EMR (preferred)
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multi-task under pressure
• Clear communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
• Adaptability to rotating responsibilities and on-call duties
